What do we do if we have a sick calf?
Here at Hilltop Ranch & Cattle we believe in providing you with the best quality beef we can raise. We feel it is important to provide the best care to our animals in the best humane way possible. If we have a sick calf, we do administer antibiotics in order to provide adequate care to the animal. We then cull, or separate, that calf and have that calf sold. We don't use that calf for butchering. This process also ensures we have the best quality beef and genetics being reproduced on our ranch. Quality of beef, quality of life.
