New cuts available

Here at Hilltop we work hard to balance having product available for our customers and also not overstocking. We recently added a few new cuts to our choices. We thought we would share one with you today.
Fajita Meat - Our fajita meat comes from the inside skirt steak which is a cut from the plate area under the rib. This meat is usually very well marbled and has amazing flavor. Because it is thin and loosely grained it marinates well and is excellent for fajitas.
We love our own homemade marinade. Find it below! What's your favorite marinade?
Fajita Marinade for 1lb of meat:
To 1/2 cup oil add -
1 Tbl Chili powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper
*Mix all ingredients together and place in a 1 gal zip bag with fajita meat. Marinate for 30 min up to overnight. Heat in skillet with sliced peppers & onions until desired tenderness.
